Funny Application at Craigslist

I was looking at the resume section of Craigslist when I noticed that there are several funny application or ads.

Check this out:

I am looking for a home job as a data entry. I’ve been a data entry for almost 1 year.

Hope my work experiences is suitable for what you looking for.

Thanks,

Where did she/he list her work experiences? Also, I didn’t know data entry is now a profession? If I were the client I would have a lot of doubts to outsource the project to her if she types like this.

This is a funny compensation plan:

Compensation Requirements:

USD Full- time: $350- 450 per month (bi weekly) or $6/ hour (bi weekly)

PESO Fulltime: P16, 000 per month (bi weekly) or P200/hr

Nobody is going to pay $6.00/hr for outsourcing to home based workers. At $3.00/hr I am getting hard bargain already.

$6.00/hr is equivalent to P285.00/hr, provided the exchange rate is P47.50.

See the inconsistencies here?

I am impressed with this ad:

Content is King

In this multi-billion-dollar industry, content is king. Design is useless if content is lousy. Information is the most sought-after commodity on the planet today. Let me help you share what you know to the world. For quality, user-friendly optimized content, hire a quality freelance writer today!

WARNING: I don’t wish to work for exploiters or scammers. Be fair. Respond to this advert only when you have a project that needs to be done and you are clear about your offer. Let’s not waste time picking my brains for information.

Now I am confused with this ad, is it me or do you see it too?

I am the kind of guy who works independently and with less inputs.

After taking my needed info, I can work my way through and before you know it, it’s done.

This is such an exaggeration, truly it is. How can one be a veteran writer if you have only over one and a half year of writing experience? And you were able to write for hundreds of accounts? Maybe hundreds of articles or posting, but hundreds of accounts?

Veteran freelance writer from the Philippines offering professional writing services to webmasters, blog owners, SEO companies, etc. With over 1 1/2 years of experience, hundreds of accounts from individual clients handled.

The worst thing I have discovered in the resume section is that, there are some foreign companies posting their job vacancies in the resume section!

Does this mean that the English language is not only deteriorating in the Philippines but also in the US as well?
