The Demise of My Writing dream
Well once again I have been disappointed in my dream of writing even half time.
Ever since I was in high school, my dream was to be a writer. Unfortunately, writers are paid cheaply or for free. So I had to pursue other more practical jobs. Over all I had an interesting life with much learning experience.
And now that technology has improved by millions, I am again presented a chance to pursue my writing dream thru blogs. It is the latest “in” thing and I really like it that is why I am maintaining my own blog. Unfortunately this seems to be the only thing I am able to afford right now. All other writing jobs I have applied for are just too cheap, it cannot even afford to pay for my DSL line.
I wonder what these people are thinking. Number 1, writers have to do research; number 2, writers have to spend time to think how to come up with a cohesive and coherant article or post of even 100 words; number 3, hey people you are tapping into our brains and putting our writings in your website. This means you are earning..some earning a lot and you are paying us peanuts.
I wonder what these people are thinking, no wonder we haven’t had a modern Shakespeare for years cause nobody wants to die a pauper now. So I guess for now, writing still remains a dream to me and from what I can see it is not taking off anytime soon.
About
Hi, I’m a work at home mom. I can’t begin to tell you how exciting these past 4 years have been. I have been busy taking care of my two boys, working for different companies and individuals, not to mention being a supportive wife to my handsome husband
.
I have always loved reading and writing, thus a blog is a great way for me to put my thoughts in writing, not to mention it provides a channel for me to voice out my frustrations and observations.
Most specially I can be ME in my blog and say anything I feel and think without any restrictions from normal norms. But what I specially like about having a blog is I am able to lambaste my Virtual Clients or appreciate them ( hey, we all need an outlet for our frustrations ) and share my humbling experiences to my fellow home based and virtual workers
